OUR STORY
THE BRAND
KKONA LLC is a company owned by a Tulalip Tribal Member, Kiana Kona. She specializes in making jewlery out of cedar harvested from the Pacific Northwest. She focuses on using sustainable and unique matierals like different seashells from around the world and tanned salmon skin leather weaved into her cedar pieces. You can find KKONA jewelry for sale at different museums and gift shops.
Kiana origionally grew up in the Columbia River Gorge in the small town of White Salmon, WA. In 2021 she moved to the Tulalip Reservation to connect with her culture. She did just that by attending a basket weaving class at the Hibulb Cultural Center where she quickly picked up on weaving. Kiana has been an artist all her life but wasn't truely passionate about her work until she touched cedar. You can stay informed with her vendor schedule on Instagram for in-person shopping.

THE DESIGNER
